Come and Learn About Child Safeguarding in Development Work

CKU once again invites, together with the rest of the Child Safeguarding Network, volunteers and staff to a training session on child protection, including an introduction to new practical tools.

Monday, September 1st, 4:30–7:30 PM at Ubuntu House, Købmagergade 43, Copenhagen.

How do we best protect the children we come into contact with through development work in the Global South? If children are the direct target group, it is likely something you have already considered, but you may still lack a systematic approach. Many projects also have a significant indirect impact on children’s lives, even if children are not the direct target group, and there may be many overlooked risk factors that we need to consider.

In this course, you will receive practical tools to talk with partners and various stakeholders about what child safeguarding entails, how to identify and address risks, and guidance on developing a child safeguarding policy.

Price: 100 DKK for catering and materials, to be paid upon registration to 100% For the Children via MobilePay: 98 365.

Register no later than August 25th by emailing Camilla Legendre, 100% For the Children: cdw@100pct.org
