Building Bridges: Engagement of Danish health students in international development

The project aims to enhance engagement in global mother- and child health and international development through the exchange of 8 Danish students and 2 foreign students. In the context of increasing globalization, understanding diverse cultures in healthcare settings is crucial for Danish health professionals. The primary target group comprises exchanged medical and nursing students, with the goal of building bridges between professionals who approach child health differently in Zanzibar/Pemba, Kyrgyzstan, and Denmark.
The secondary target group includes study peers, friends, and relatives of the exchanged students. The tertiary group encompasses individuals participating in online discussions, meetings, workshops, and publications focused on the experiences of the exchange participants. The project aligns with Sustainable Development Goals 3, 2, and 17.
