Young, Urban and Engaged for Global Climate Action

This project engages Danish youth in the SDGs, focusing on SDG 13: Climate Action, through collaboration between KVUC’s SDG students and Ugandan youth from Network for Active Citizens. It also involves Danish students, teachers, and education actors to promote global climate solidarity and integrate international development cooperation into education. Key activities include SDG courses, study trips to Kampala, and photo exhibitions in both cities. Ugandan youth will visit Copenhagen, and KVUC will host an SDG Festival. Institutional sustainability efforts will be strengthened through student-led initiatives and a guide for greener study trips. Expected outcomes include increased youth leadership in climate action, stronger global education practices, and deeper SDG engagement. Through hands-on experiences and advocacy, the project ensures a lasting impact on climate action and international cooperation.
