The purpose with the project “Accelerate Uganda” is to engage Danish
auto mechanic apprentices in the sustainable development goals 4, 8
and 17 and international development cooperation in Uganda. Via the
project ZBC and its partner Uganda Industrial Research Institute (UIRI),
seek to establish a solid partnership in Uganda where young Danish auto
mechanics can intern in a safe and well-organized VET institution and to
give young Ugandan mechanics a high-quality mechanics course in
Uganda.
By facilitating professional exchange visits and peer to peer SDG training
modules and a comprehensive engagement activity plan in Denmark,
ZBC and its Ugandan partners aim to maximize engagement impacts for
the projects target groups and lay the foundation for a strong
partnership on auto mechanical VET training in Uganda.
