From Awareness to Action: Mobilising Youth for the SDGs
- Projektnummer GLOBUS 2026-44
- Bevillingshaver Orangutang Fonden
- Land Indonesia
The project’s overall aim and strategy is to combine theoretical grounding, practical fieldwork in Indonesia, and peer-to-peer engagement in Denmark to strengthen student competencies while contributing to SDG 13, 15, and 17. University students gain first-hand experience with conservation, community engagement, and sustainable development, applying skills such as GIS mapping, forest monitoring, and socio-economic data collection in a local context. Through engagement and outreach activities—including workshops, talks, social media communication, and a one-day festival—students share their experiences with other university students, high school peers and the broader public, fostering awareness of global development challenges and inspiring action. This approach ensures both deep engagement of the primary target group and broader outreach, while fostering knowledge, engagement, and sustainable impact.
