The initiative plan to use local schools on Zanzibar to educate stakeholders in democratic values, organizational development, and benefits of physical education. We believe that this can affect the sports environments and create strong and healthy sports education in the school system. We (ZESI and us) wish to
use sport as a tool for activating the civil society on Zanzibar, to inspire them to work toward a more sustainable future, with focus on education relevant to the global goals. The end goal is creating positive environments in sports for both children and adults inside and outside the school system. The project will be used as an educational platform to engage and educate Danish elementary school students in Skovby Scholl, on life in Zanzibar. The educational aspect in Skovby Scholl will be a part of a theme that focuses on the SDGs.
