Project aims to increase the awareness on the challenges related to the access to clean
drinking water in Uganda among future Water and Environment Engineers. Through
professional workshops and special events students from Danish and Uganda
universities will collaborate in focusing directly on Goal no. 6 – access to clean drinking
water and sanitation and indirectly on Goal no. 4: Quality of Education.
Project contains three elements: 1) professional workshops in Uganda and Denmark for
students from both countries; 2) building the capacity of Muni University for drinking
water analysis by donation and purchase of necessary equipment and supplements 3)
special engagements events in DK for students on real problems in Uganda related to
climate change and drinking water management.
