In autumn 2022 the Danish Mission Council (DMC) is offering a new online course called Church-Based Development Leadership (CDL). The course is focused on capacity upgrading leaders and pastors engaged in church-based development work. The Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN) needs capacity building in order to better seek external funding for projects through better project applications. In relation to LCCNs long term strategic plan there is need for additional human resources particularly Project officer(s) to handle project writing to attract partners to support towards achieving its goals. Furthermore, through the participation of the 2 members of the staff in the course the LCCN will increase its capacity to work with development as a civil society organization based on citizen participation, the rights-based approach, economic justice, good governance, and Sustainable Development Goal.
