“Allow others, to be others”: Capacity Building and Networking

We aim to share our experience of working in the aspect of Freedom of Religion or Beliefs with Danish politicians, Danes interested and/or engaged in NGO-work and the Sri Lankan diaspora, ensuring authenticity by having LEADS presenting their experiences in Denmark. Specifically, we want to show Danish politicians that sustainable change is possible, even at a relatively low cost. This project demonstrates tangible outcomes of Danish development aid, when it is focused at building the capacity of the global south partners. Further, we want to show the diaspora community and Danes interested and/or engaged in NGO-work that tangible and sustainable change is possible, and that they can be part of creating such change, by partnering with a local NGO like LEADS and by implementing similar initiatives.
