Strengthening Locally-Led Development in Mandalay

This capacity development activity supports The Way Station in Mandalay, to strengthen its organisational systems and structures. The activity responds to findings from a participatory capacity assessment conducted during the partnership activity.
The full core team of TWS will participate, together with representatives from OM Denmark and two experienced facilitators.

The activity consists of two phases: a three-day intensive workshop held outside Myanmar, covering organisational identity, monitoring and evaluation, financial management, and leadership development; followed by four months of structured remote accompaniment during which the workshop outputs are piloted and embedded in day-to-day practice.

The expected outcome is that TWS will be equipped with the systems, tools, and institutional capacity needed to carry out community-led, and conflict-sensitive development work including reporting up to the standard required by Danish (and other) government donors.
