Creative Resistance - Creating Hope in Times of Despair

The project aims to raise awareness about the genocide against the Palestinian people and the effort that Mitri Raheb, president of Dar al Kalima University undertakes to encourage young Palestinians to keep working for hope and resilience through what they have named “creative resistance”, - to find hope through Palestinian art and culture.
Many young talented Palestinians that work with this creative resistance through their art. Many of them are artists in Gaza who work as volunteers amongst children, youth and women under difficult conditions with simple means. Others are students living under at the main faculty in Bethlehem living under occupation and even exiled artists still working with target groups in Gaza.
The aim is to create an exhibition that can be easily distributed as photos of the works or as videos or printed as posters. Taget groups in Denmark are church members and general public.
