This spring’s application round was marked by strong proposals and an extraordinary opportunity to support several important initiatives. With an additional grant of 5 million DKK from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a total of 19,797,409 DKK has been awarded to 20 projects under the CKU fund, Nexus+ in Ukraine, and the ToRF-window.
The extra funding means that more worthy projects than usual have been approved. Unfortunately, many worthy projects still could not be accommodated. Under the CKU fund and Nexus+ in Ukraine, projects worth 2,602,664 DKK were rejected, while under the ToRF window, the figure was as high as 8,493,998 DKK.
