Consultants Needed for Learning Review of FoRB Projects

The Centre for Church-Based Development (CKU) and Digni are seeking an experienced consultant or a small team of consultants to conduct a comprehensive learning review of the Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB) project portfolios from 2020 to 2025.

Assignment Overview

  • Conduct an in-depth analysis of FoRB projects managed by CKU and Digni, focusing on their impact, outcomes, and lessons learned.
  • Produce three main deliverables:
    • Learning Review Report: Documenting results and good practices.
    • Best Practice Catalogue: Showcasing successful strategies and key messages.
    • Localized Indicators Tool: Developing participatory, context-sensitive indicators for measuring progress on FoRB issues.

Requirements

The assignment is expected to be completed by a small team of consultants with proven experience in:

  • Conducting reviews or evaluations of human rights or development projects, particularly in the area of FoRB.
  • Knowledge of international FoRB promotion interventions and human rights-based approaches.
  • Expertise in local and participatory MERL (monitoring, evaluation, research, learning) methodologies.

It is an advantage if the consultants have an international network of contacts to support the data collection process. It is also preferred that the consultant team possesses strong combined research, data collection, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
