The Migori Youth and Women Microenterprises (MYWME) project, aims to address youth unemployment and women's economic empowerment in Migori County, specifically in Suna Kwa. The project focuses on establishing agricultural value chains within self-help groups led by youth and women, creating employment opportunities, reducing poverty, and enhancing economic well-being. Building on the learnings of (CKU-22-B-09), the project focuses on imparting entrepreneurship skills, capacity building, market-driven strategies, and encouraging collaborative efforts among participants. Main activities include the formation and strengthening of value chain incubation clubs and delivering entrepreneurship and money management trainings with the expected outcomes being, Increased income levels among youth and women participants; diversified sources of income within the target groups; and formalized collaborative partnerships with Government, civil society and the private sector.
