  • Projektnummer CKU-2024-B-09
  • Bevillingshaver EXIST
  • Land Nigeria

This project is based on 10 safehouses in six states in Abuja (5), Ondo (1), Benin (1), Lagos (1), Plateau (1) and Oyo State (1) across Nigeria with proven results on
rehabilitation, empowerment and reintegration. Among the project's three target groups, one has been expressed great need for trauma-based education, followed by sustained support over a period of time. This will stabilize the women to be better equipped for the future, while at the same time getting a voice to advocate to others.

The primary target group is 30-60 reintegrated women who were previously residents of the 10 identified safehouses over the past 5 years.

The secondary target group is 100 current residents of the same 10 safehouses. The third target group is 30 employees, 3 from each of the same 10 safehouses. These 30 employees take on a mentoring function in relation to supporting those who currently live in the safehouse and the others who no longer live at the safehouse, but who still relate to it.
