Teen-pregnancy Awareness Project

The purpose of the project is to raise awareness on the increasing rise in teen-pregnancies, and possible strategies to pursue in order to prevent the increase in teen-pregnancies. The target group here will include both teenage boys and girls between 13 and 19 years of age. We will work with local churches, families, and schools as primary stakeholders. Churches, schools and family play a vital role in preserving cultural norms and traditions. Main activities will include field visits, workshops and data collection through surveys and questionnaires. The expected outcomes include:
Outcome 1: Raising awareness on safe sex
Outcome 2: Improved access to contraception and the correct use of contraception
