KFUM og KFUK in Denmark wish to send a young volunteer from YMCA Lviv to the International Course at the Diaconal College in 2024. This initiative aims to contribute to YMCA Lviv's capacity building and organizational development by further developing a young volunteer's skills in leadership and their understanding of organisations and international relations.
For the past 10 years, KFUM and KFUK in Denmark have collaborated with YMCA in Lviv, Ukraine, facilitating exchanges between the two countries, thereby empowering young people of both countries. Furthermore, the partnership is dedicated to assist Ukraine in its ongoing democratic development.
The course is expected to enhance collaboration between Denmark and Lviv in Ukraine, primarily by strengthening the young volunteer's leadership capacity, benefiting both YMCA Lviv's management and other volunteers. The course and stay in Denmark are also expected to generate mutual inspiration that can benefit both organizations.
