Capacity building and learning in Denmark of Palestinian student from Dar al-Kalima University

Betlehems Venner (BV) supports the education and training of young Palestinians through scholarships in Palestine and exchanges with Danish educational institutions.
BV wants to offer a young Palestinian woman from the Dar al-Kalima University College of Arts and Culture a place on the Deacon College's international 3-month course September to November 2024 "Hope in Action". The course focuses on activating young people in civil society through social activism based on "diakonia" values, so that they can participate locally in challenging structures that harm people and the planet and contribute to the sustainable development of a fairer world.
We expect that the exchange of experience with other international participants and exposure to Danish civil society will strengthen the student and the sending organisation, DAK, in creating a new generation of competent and engaged young leaders in church and society in Palestine.
