In the last part of the project Empowering Unmarried Young Mothers in Rukwa Region, Tanzania (UYME), the project staff, the external evaluator, and the CKU monitoring visit found that the young mothers needed more VSLA training and more support to be able to continue the work in the small shops - especially to help each other save and loan.
In this application, we apply for VSLA training for the young a five-day VSLA seminar for the members of the network (RRVCVN).
The VSLA training for the UYM is done by some of the members of the Rukwa Network (RRVCVN), the Trainers of Trainees (ToT). The RRVCVN is a network with 50 representatives working with the most vulnerable children, women, and youth in the region. The members are stakeholders from churches, social welfare offices in the region, orphanages, and other civil society organizations working with the target group, and the VSLA skills will be spread in the area.
