The "Pathways to Peace" project is a collaborative effort between Danish and Ukrainian religious organizations aimed at promoting peace in Ukraine. It builds on longstanding partnerships between the Danish Bible Society, the Danish Church Council, the Danish Inter-church council , and their Ukrainian counterparts, such as the Ukrainian Bible Society and the Ukrainian Council of Churches. The project seeks to address the traumas caused by the war through biblical trauma healing, providing psycho-social support to families, soldiers, and clergy. It also focuses on fostering ecumenical dialogue to develop a stable and just peace in Ukraine, combining local, national, and international peacebuilding initiatives. Activities include trauma healing programs, national and international peace conferences, and the strengthening of networks between Danish and Ukrainian partners. Ultimately, the project aims to create a foundation for long-term peace and reconciliation in Ukrainian society.
