  • Projektnummer CKU-2024-TC-02
  • Bevillingshaver Mission Afrika
  • Land Cameroon

The purpose of the feasability study is to convene leaders from three districts—Mora, Tokomberé, and Kolofata—to explore avenues for fostering peace and stability by promoting freedom of religion and belief. Through expert-led discussions and participatory sessions, a 2-day workshop will deepen understanding of the concept of freedom of religion, as outlined in both legal frameworks and religious texts, particularly the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Holy Qur'an, and the Holy Bible. By bringing together key stakeholders, including traditional chiefs, religious leaders, administrative authorities, guardians of tradition, civil society representatives, and agents of CAPDI EFLC, the workshop seeks to facilitate dialogue, exchange ideas, and formulate strategies to promote FoRB in a coming project. Furthermore a FoRB Think Tank will be established to be engaged in project design.
