Without Violence: For Women’s Equality and Safety

The project aims to prevent and respond to gender-based violence (GBV) in four rural areas of Mali by empowering women and engaging men and religious leaders. Led by Mission Fraternelle Lutherienne au Mali (MFLM) , the initiative builds on established women’s associations to enhance awareness, provide psycho-social and legal support, and promote financial independence. Activities include community education, vigilance committees, male engagement sessions, and faith-based advocacy. The project also strengthens MFLM’s organizational capacity and safeguarding mechanisms, aiming for sustainable change in attitudes, improved protection systems, and greater gender equality in local communities.
