Community and Faith-based Action Against OSAEC – PHASE 2

  • Projektnummer CKU-2025-A-09
  • Bevillingshaver Viva Danmark
  • Land Philippines

This project seeks to protect vulnerable children from online sexual abuse and exploitation (OSAEC) by mobilizing communities and churches through a rights-based, community-led approach. Building on the progress of Phase 1, it will continue strengthening churches and barangays in Region IV-A. In Rizal and Dasmariñas City, the project will support two local networks under the Philippine Children’s Ministries Network—RCMN and C3DC—by expanding child protection programs and enhancing their leadership and governance. With the active involvement of local authorities, churches, and the three major denominational councils, the project will deepen community capacity to raise awareness, improve coordination, and respond effectively to OSAEC. By 2027, over 500,000 children are expected to benefit from safer, more protective environments, as the project fosters long-term systems change rooted in local faith-based and civic institutions.
