The Livelihood Enhancement Project aims to empower 150 rural farmers [90 women and 60 men] in five locations in Chiakariga Sub-County through hands-on training in sustainable agriculture and goat husbandry. By enhancing food security, increasing income, and promoting self-reliance, the project seeks to improve the livelihoods of these farmers. Additionally, it facilitates the establishment of Self-help savings and credit group (SHGs) to ensure long-term sustainability. By actively engaging with stakeholders at all levels, the project addresses cultural and patriarchal barriers hindering community development, specifically targeting women's socio-economic transformation.
