Access for all: Breaking barriers for disabled youth in Rugarama sector, Gatsibo district

This feasibility study aims to identify barriers faced by youth with disabilities in Rugarama Sector, Gatsibo District, Rwanda. Through stakeholder mapping, community consultations, data collection, and site assessments, the study will explore challenges in education, employment, health, and social inclusion. Christian Mercy, in partnership with Mission Support, will lead the intervention, engaging a consultant to ensure inclusive, evidence-based research. Findings will inform a future project proposal focused on inclusive skills development and economic empowerment. The expected outcome is a validated report with actionable recommendations to guide strategic planning and resource mobilization for a rights-based, inclusive intervention.
