Capacity building of the financial management of the Moravian Church Western Tanzania

The overall purpose of the project is to ensure that Moravian Church in Western Tanzania and its institutions can deliver quality services in the areas of mission, worship, education, health, and other diaconal activities that encompasses the call to serve the poor and oppressed.
The project focuses on MCWT headquarter, Lusangi Secondary School, Lusangi Bible college, and Sikonge Mission Hospital.
The expected outcomes are 1) clear and transparent financial management systems, 2) the leadership having knowledge about basic financial management principles and how to implement these in their daily work, and 3) a strong network between MCWT's different institutions.
The project's activities will be regular visits from a financial consultant guiding the changes, on-job-training of the financial staff, training of central leadership through exernal courses followed by internal training of other leaderes, and building a network for exchanging experiences between MCWT’s institutions.
