Capacity Building for Countryside Harvest Mission in Run Ta Ek

The intervention focuses on marginalized people in Run Ta EK outside Siem Reap in Cambodia. Danish Lutheran Mission and Countryside Harvest Mission aims to reach out to the people with teaching and assistance in health related topics via the recently established Living Hope Center(LHC). The need for teaching and assistance is high, and the intervention sends three workers on two TOT courses on Community Health Evangelism in Thailand. Foundational CHE Training of Trainers (TOT) is designed to equip participants to implement their own integrated ministry of community health and evangelism in a target area. CHE is very much an approach geared towards prevention, awareness raising and education in helath related issues.
Following the courses in CHE the workers will be certified co-trainers in the CHE concept, and be well equipped to run the health ministry from LHC. Also, they will use their co-trainer certification to teach others in the CHE concept, allowing the knowledge to spread.
