Rehabilitation of Ukrainian Veterans and their families
- Projektnummer CKU-2025-G-03
- Bevillingshaver APOSTOLSK KIRKE I DANMARK
- Land Ukraine
In cooperation between Acts Mission from Denmark and Camp Maximum from Ukraine this project aims to rehabilitate Ukrainian veterans and their families through therapy, family care, and reintegration support. It features a two-phase program: Phase 1 involves an intensive recovery program with emotional, physical, and family-focused healing; Phase 2 transitions participants to government-operated veteran hubs, offering ongoing psychological, social, and practical support. The initiative involves local churches to be involved in building family networks to support the reintegration of both veterans and their families. Camp Maximum will provide training for staff and volunteers and Danish churches are involved for expertise in social initiatives, fostering sustainable veteran care. Endorsed by Ukraine's Ministry of Social Policy, the project aspires to expand its model nationwide, aiding thousands of veterans and promoting community cohesion during ongoing conflicts.
