This project supports war-affected children and families across Ukraine by improving children's psychosocial well-being and ensuring food security for vulnerable IDP households. Led by the Ukrainian Baptist Union in partnership with BUD, the intervention targets 2,000 children (ages 5–16) and 500 households. Activities include short-term day camps, trauma-informed psychosocial care, and faith-based resilience programs (Unbreakable) implemented through local churches. Volunteers and leaders will be trained in child protection, food distribution, and peacebuilding. A psychologist will supervise the psychosocial response and train local teams. Expected outcomes include improved mental health among children and enhanced food security in frontline areas. The project strengthens local capacity, promotes healing, and fosters sustainable community engagement through ongoing youth groups and church-based follow-up.
