  • Land Angola, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa

Understanding and valuing FORB for all both as a part of the broader human rights framework as well as a value corresponding with African contextual theology is at the heart of this project. The long-term goal is that lay and ordained leaders across Africa understand and value the right, and use skills and tools gained to build societal respect for FORB for all through their role as community leaders and educators.
Building on four regional workshops together with the network NetACT, consisting of 54 African seminaries, the first part delivers a textbook on FORB and African contextual theology. A basic approach to FORB is required, providing support to the easy roll-out of ready-made curricula accessible at the first-year undergraduate level at African seminaries and theological teaching institutions. The second part of the project develops online materials and community materials for teaching FORB and theology, and introduces the materials across the NetACT constituency
