This project empowers Persian-speaking women and men in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan to understand, value, and act upon Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB) and gender equality. Through SAT-7 PARS’s Insiders programme and digital media, it combines real-life testimonies, expert input, and rights-based storytelling to strengthen resilience, solidarity, and moral agency among viewers. A secure women’s digital group and consultative workshops create safe spaces for reflection and sharing, while targeted campaigns, such as Redefining Masculinity and Girls’ Education and Gender-Based Violence, challenge harmful norms. Staff training and cross-channel exchanges strengthen SAT-7’s long-term capacity for FoRB-sensitive, rights-based production. The goal is for Persian audiences to grow in awareness, confidence, and capacity to express and advocate for their beliefs freely, fostering inclusion and respect for diversity across the region.
