The BRIDGE – Building Religious Inclusion, Dignity, and Gender Equality project aims to create a society where people of all faiths, including those affected by leprosy or disabilities, especially women, fully enjoy freedom of religion by actively participating in an inclusive religious and community life. The project addresses stigma, structural barriers, and limited interfaith collaboration at the local level. It focuses on capacity building of civil society organizations (CSOs) and community leaders to advocate for religious rights, raising awareness among religious leaders about the rights of persons affected by leprosy and disabilities, and implementing action plans to make religious buildings and practices more inclusive. By end of 2026, the project aims to empower marginalized groups to access their entitlements and achieve measurable improvements in their socio-economic conditions.
