Establishment of Local Language/FoRB Center in Chennai

The central purpose of this project is to combat the rising instances of Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB) violations faced by North Indian migrants living in Chennai.
Participants:
50 adult North Indian migrants (male and female, ages 18–45),
20 children (ages 5–15) from migrant families.
Activities:
Establishment of a dedicated Language and Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB) Education Center, envisioned as a transformative space for linguistic empowerment, rights education, and social integration for North Indian migrants living in Chennai.
Expected outcome
At least 70% of adult participants demonstrate improved Tamil proficiency (based on pre/post assessments).
80% of participants report increased knowledge of legal rights and mechanisms for redress.
Number of FoRB violations documented and reported by trained CBOs increases by 50%.
