The Church and Community Mobilisation Process (CCMP) programme (‘Menighedsbaseret Diakoni’) was launched in 2019 as a so-called ‘Supportive Activity’. As such, the intention was to promote learnings as to how existing diaconal assets of the local church could be used and fostered in support of transformational development and help CKU’s member organizations and south partners refine their methodology and approach within church-based diaconia.
This second phase will contain of two main components: Firstly, embedding and consolidating the existing CCMP processes started in phase 1. Embed CCMP more in churches through re-envisioning, strengthening structures, lobbying leadership. Deepen work with the communities. Advocacy and linking to local government.
Secondly, training of facilitators to become CCMP trainers in their own right. Ensures that the technical CCMP skills are embedded within the south partner organization and CCMP can spread/grow organically in own church network.
