The FPFK Lamu Peace Project aims to support communities in Witu to experience strengthened social cohesion, human security, and peaceful coexistence through inclusive faith‑based peacebuilding and collaborative civil–security systems, to address violent extremism and community conflict. Outcomes include Strengthened Faith Networks for Peace Advocacy, Functional Community–State Peace Structures including the Early Warning and Early Response System, and strengthened Healing, Reconciliation, and Psychosocial Well Being among community members. Key activities include training faith and state actors in conflict resolution, human rights, and community policing; facilitating interfaith dialogue; establishing early warning systems; and providing psychosocial support and safe spaces for affected community members.
