STRENGTHENING FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS THROUGH DIGITALISATION AND PRACTICAL CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT

This intervention aims to strengthen the financial management capacity of the Moravian Church in Tanzania – Rukwa Province by improving the skills, systems and practical use of digital financial management. Eighteen finance personnel, comprising seven District Accountants, six Accountants from Church institutions and five Provincial Accountants, will participate in a ten-day practical capacity development programme. The training will cover financial recording, budgeting, accounting, internal controls, reconciliation, financial reporting, compliance, financial data management and practical use of a digital financial management system. Six computers will be procured, together with appropriate software and installation support. Three follow-up visits will reinforce application of the acquired skills and system use.
