- Projektnummer CKU-2026-TE-01
- Bevillingshaver Danish Minorities' Center for Human Rights and Development
- Land Kenya
This capacity development seminar, implemented by DMC-HRD for partner organizations in Kenya and Zambia, aims to strengthen women's meaningful participation and leadership in Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB) projects. It addresses the gap between women's formal participation and their ability to engage assertively in mixed-gender settings.
Co-developed with five partner organizations, the intervention includes a preparatory online phase, a three-day in-person workshop in Kenya, and a follow-up phase. The seminar will bring together 18 participants, including project staff, women committee members, and a local expert, to build skills in gender-responsive FoRB programming.
Expected outcomes include enhanced organizational capacity, practical action plans, a shared resource pack, and strengthened peer learning networks. Sustainability is ensured through organizational action plans, internal knowledge sharing, and continued technical support.
