On Tuesday, May 20, the 12th meeting of the Danish Contact Forum for Freedom of Religion or Belief will be held.
The theme of the meeting is the role of technology in the work with freedom of religion or belief, with a focus on both opportunities and limitations in a changing world. At the meeting, you will be introduced to experts who will focus on the intersection between technology and freedom of religion or belief. You will also be introduced to initiatives that use technology in work related to freedom of religion or belief at the international level. The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session. Please note that parts of the presentations will be in English.
The meeting also aims to provide mutual inspiration for the work with freedom of religion or belief and plenty of opportunity for networking among participants.
Chief Legal Advisor Vibeke Pasternak Jørgensen will frame the day, as the Director for Development Policy, Elsebeth Søndergaard Krone, has unfortunately had to cancel due to an urgent trip.

- 14:00–14:05: Welcome by Ambassador and Special Representative for Freedom of Religion or Belief, Nathalia Feinberg
- 14:05–14:25: Introduction to the day’s theme by Chief Legal Advisor, Vibeke Pasternak Jørgensen, including Q&A
- 14:25–14:45: Presentation by Ben Greenacre, Consultant Legal Adviser at OSCE, on the challenges of the digital aspect in human rights work
- 14:45–15:30: Presentation of concrete examples of international projects working with technology and freedom of religion or belief, including a short coffee break
15:30–16:00: Concluding discussion and wrap-up by Nathalia Feinberg
