Description in English: CKU invites member organizations and their south partners to a virtual seminar on Safeguarding. The purpose of Safeguarding is to ensure that all people are treated with respect, dignity and worth and avoid negative effects and harm for project recipients and partners in project activities supported by CKU. It is a requirement in CKU that self-administering organizations have their own Safeguarding policy and that local partners have a local complaint- and response mechanism in place when receiving CKU grants above 500.000 DKK.

Safeguarding expert Mette Honore is the presenter of the seminar. She will introduce what safeguarding is, why it is important and how you can implement it in your organization.
